To My Touché Line

This is my Touche Line in England. Not sure if they came from France as there seems to be a lot from France. I would like to know if this line was of French Huguenot origin. Please e-mail me if you know more, I only have a father and daughter here.

John TOUCHE Lord Mudley and Unknown(Nee) TOUCHE were married. Unknown(Nee) TOUCHE was born. John TOUCHE Lord Mudley and Unknown(Nee) TOUCHE had the following children:

   +2 i. Anne TOUCHE (born in 1448).



Second Generation

2. Anne TOUCHE was born in 1448.

Anne TOUCHE and Sir John WINGFIELD were married. Sir John WINGFIELD (son of John WINGFIELD Sir and Elizabeth FITZ-LEWIS) was born. Anne TOUCHE and Sir John WINGFIELD had the following children:

3. Sir Anthony WINGFIELD was born in Leatheringham, County Suffolk, England.

Sir Anthony WINGFIELD and Elisabeth DE VERE were married. Elisabeth DE VERE (daughter of Lord John DE VERE 12th Earl of Oxford and Alice HOLLAND) was born in 1490. Sir Anthony WINGFIELD and Elisabeth DE VERE had the following children:

   +4 i. Elizabeth WINGFIELD (born in 1512).

Elizabeth WINGFIELD and William NAUNTON were married in 1530 in England. William NAUNTON was born in 1508 in Leatheringham, Abbey, Englan. Elizabeth WINGFIELD and William NAUNTON had the following children:

5. Ursula NAUNTON was born in 1535 in England. She died in Otley, England.

Ursula NAUNTON and Robert GOSNOLD II were married in 1565 in England. Robert GOSNOLD II (son of Robert GOSNOLD I) was born in 1534 in Swyland, Otley, Suffolk, England. He died in 1615 in Earleshall, Otley, Suffolk Co., England. Ursula NAUNTON and Robert GOSNOLD II had the following children:

   +6 i. Elizabeth GOSNOLD (born in 1560).
   +7 ii. Robert GOSNOLD (born in 1561).
     8 iii. Anthony GOSNOLD was born in 1562 in Otley, Suffolk, England. He died in 1611.
     9 iv. John GOSNOLD was born in 1568 in Netherhall Manor, Otley, Suffolk, England.
   10 v. Thomas GOSNOLD was born about 1573 in Netherhall Manor, Otley, Suffolk, England.

Seventh Generation

12. Thomas KEENE Jr was born in 1593 in Suffolk, England. He immigrated in 1653 to from England to Northumberland County, Virginia. He died Northumberland Co., VA in 1659.

Thomas KEENE Jr and Mary THORLEY were married in 1641 in Kent Island, Maryland. Mary THORLEY (daughter of Edward THORLEY and Mary (nee?) THORLEY) was born in 1641 in Kent Island, Maryland. She immigrated in 1653 to England to Northumberland County, Virginia. She died on 10 Feb 1661 in Northumberland, Va. Thomas KEENE Jr and Mary THORLEY had the following children:

   +15 i. Susanna KEENE (born between 1634 and 1649).
   +16 ii. William KEENE (born on 10 Mar 1642).
     17 iii. Thomas KEENE was born.
   +18 iv. Matthrew KEENE (born 1658/1659,).



Eighth Generation

15. Susanna KEENE was born between 1634 and 1649 in Pro. Kent Island, Potomac River, Va/Maryland. She died on 28 Mar 1716 in Westmoreland Co, Virginia.

Susanna KEENE and John GARDNER were married about Feb 1659/60 in Cherry Point Neck, Stafford Co, Virginia. John GARDNER (son of Richard GARDNER and Katharn GARNER) was born in Aug 1634 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. He died died May 1702 in Kinsdale, Westmoreland Co, Virginia.


16. William KEENE was born on 10 Mar 1642 in Kent Island, Maryland. He died on 8 Feb 1684 in Northumberland, Va.

William KEENE and Elizabeth ROGERS were married. Elizabeth ROGERS was born.


18. Matthrew KEENE died on 14 Apr 1731 in Stafford Co., Virginia. He was born 1658/1659, in Northcumberland, Virginia.
