This is another line that I just found summer of 2005, I haven't had a chance to do much on it.

John DIXON and Mary ARTHUR were married. Mary ARTHUR was born. John DIXON and Mary ARTHUR had the following children:

 +2 i. Elizabeth DIXON.



Second Generation

2. Elizabeth DIXON was born.

Elizabeth DIXON and Garrett NEWMAN were married on 29 Oct 1791 in Bedford Co., VA. Garrett NEWMAN (son of Conrad NEWMAN and Ann Margaret BROBECK) was born about 1769 in Bedford Co., VA. He died on 24 Mar 1851 in Bedford Co., VA. Elizabeth DIXON and Garrett NEWMAN had the following children:

 3 i. Polly NEWMAN was born about 1792 in Bedford Co., VA.
 +4 ii. 'Lucy' NEWMAN (born in 1785).
 +5 iii. Sally NEWMAN (born in 1795).
 +6 iv. Clark M. NEWMAN (born on 15 Apr 1799).
 +7 v. Elizabeth NEWMAN (born about 1801).
 +8 vi. Bailey NEWMAN (born on 15 Feb 1805).



Third Generation

4. 'Lucy' NEWMAN was born in 1785 in North Carolina. She died on 3 Jan 1866 in Cedar Township, Johnson County, Iowa.. She was buried in Wallick (aka Mason Baldwin) Cemetery, Linn, Cedar County, Iowa.

'Lucy' NEWMAN and William R. HARRISON were married on 31 Oct 1813 in Bedford Co., VA. William R. HARRISON was born in 1790 in North Carolina. He appeared in the census in 1850 in Brown, Washington County, Indiana. He died on 22 Jul 1856 in Cedar Township, Johnson County, Iowa.. He was buried in Wallick (aka Mason Baldwin) Cemetery, Linn, Cedar County, Iowa. 'Lucy' NEWMAN and William R. HARRISON had the following children:

 +9 i. Josiah HARRISON.
 +10 ii. Robert HARRISON.
 +11 iii. John Ellis HARRISON (born in 27).
 +12 iv. Clark HARRISON (born in 1824).
 +13 v. Bailey HARRISON (born in 1828).
 +14 vi. James D. HARRISON (born in 1836).
 +15 vii. Nancy HARRISON (born in 1836).
 +16 viii. William G. HARRISON.
 +17 ix. Elizabeth HARRISON.
 +18 x. Zachariah HARRISON.
 +19 xi. Lucy HARRISON.
 +20 xii. Sally HARRISON.

5. Sally NEWMAN was born in 1795 in Bedford Co., VA. She died on 7 Jun 1863 in Bedford Co., VA.

Sally NEWMAN and Henry ARTHUR were married on 6 Mar 1819 in Bedford Co., VA. Henry ARTHUR was born on 1 Feb 1783 in Bedford Co., VA. He died on 4 Dec 1879 in Bedford, Virginia. Sally NEWMAN and Henry ARTHUR had the following children:

 21 i. Ardena ARTHUR was born on 14 Nov 1821 in Bedford, Virginia.
 22 ii. Armistead ARTHUR was born on 11 Dec 1825 in Bedford, Virginia. He died on 11 Dec 1962 in Lynchburg, , Virginia.
 23 iii. Admire ARTHUR was born on 14 Jun 1823 in Bedford Co., VA. He died on 21 Apr 1862 in Bedford Co., VA.


6. Clark M. NEWMAN was born on 15 Apr 1799 in Virginia.

Clark M. NEWMAN and Elizabeth King HOWELL were married on 18 Dec 1822 in Virginia. Elizabeth King HOWELL was born on 10 Jul 1800 in Virginia. Clark M. NEWMAN and Elizabeth King HOWELL had the following children:

 26 i. Parthene NEWMAN was born on 6 Oct 1823 in VA.
 27 ii. Bailey NEWMAN was born on 25 Feb 1825 in Virginia. He died in 1884.
 28 iii. Elias NEWMAN was born on 2 Sep 1828 in Virginia. He died on 24 Apr 1912 in Virginia.
 29 iv. Callohill Minnis NEWMAN was born on 10 Sep 1830 in VA. He died on 22 Aug 1864.
 30 v. Elizabeth NEWMAN was born on 23 Sep 1832 in VA.
 31 vi. Wiley Clark Bozie NEWMAN was born on 17 Oct 1834 in VA.
 32 vii. Thomas NEWMAN was born on 28 Jun 1837 in VA. He died on 20 May 1865.
 33 viii. Levina F. NEWMAN was born on 13 May 1840 in VA.

7. Elizabeth NEWMAN was born about 1801 in Bedford Co., VA. She died on 16 Nov 1828 in Tenn.

Elizabeth NEWMAN and William M. MEADE were married 21 Nov l822 in Bedford Co, , Va, Roane Co Tn. William M. MEADE was born between 1796 and 1801 in Bedford, Virginia. Elizabeth NEWMAN and William M. MEADE had the following children:

36 i. Nathaniel MEADE was born.
 +37 ii. Sarah Elizabeth MEADE (born on 1 Feb 1826).

8. Bailey NEWMAN was born on 15 Feb 1805 in Bedford Co, Va.

Bailey NEWMAN and Zelophia A LEFTWICH were married on 29 Nov 1831 in Bedford, Virginia. Zelophia A LEFTWICH was born on 29 Nov 1801 in Bedford Co, Va. Bailey NEWMAN and Zelophia A LEFTWICH had the following children:

 38 i. John Clark NEWMAN was born about 1832 in Bedford, Virginia.
 39 ii. Susan NEWMAN was born about 1834 in Bedford, Virginia.
 40 iii. Austin NEWMAN was born about 1836 in Bedford, Virginia. She died on 13 Aug 1862.
 41 iv. William NEWMAN was born about 1838 in Bedford, Virginia.

Bailey NEWMAN and Mildred HURT were married on 23 Dec 1850 in Bedford Co, , Va. Mildred HURT was born about 1815 in Bedford, Virginia.
