The tea is brewing lets take a walk around the room and we can talk while we go.
I am a mother of 4(1 boy passed
away and 3 girls living) and a grandmother of 6 granddaughters and 5 grandsons
(including 1 step-grandson). I have 4 great-grandchildren (1 girl and 3 boys. You can see them in the Nursery, and the Children's Playroom. These rooms are on the third floor of the Manor. You can access the stairs in the hallway, then the next set of stairs going up.
I have a Photo Album, with them in there too. I have done genealogy
off and on for 40 years. I was married 39 years. My husband Jim passed away.
I have some genealogy web pages up. I have provide links to all pages in the foyer.
I have been on the computer for 20 years. On the internet for 15 years. I have done web pages for
12 years. I was bitten by the Victorian bug. I love it and feel it works into genealogy quite well.
I have many internet friends that I have met along the way of the Cyber highway. The farthest away is in New Zealand, then Germany, and England. We have become good friends. Cilla in England, and I exchange Christmas presents.
I have a web page up about her.
I have loved tea since an early age. I think it is because of my English heritage. My Great-Grandfather on my Father's Mother's side came from London, England. If you will click on the picture to your right then you will learn about "The Essence of Drinking Tea". Secret Passage. ---->
This is Butterscotch. I had him when I was growing up. If you pet him (he won't scratch) you will go to his page which I made in his memory. He will tell you his story. I don't think a home is complete without pets around
This is Spitzie Chin-Lo. She was a very special lady. She was the first dog that Jim and I had. Pet her and read her story. No Victorian home was complete if they did not have a Pekingese.
I collect teapots, tea caddies, Angels, Ladies
and Gentlemen figurines, Tweety Birds, eagles and owls. Owls being my largest collection next to them "Dry Bones" of Genealogy. If you click on the picture of the teapots you will see some of my tea caddies pictures I have collected. You will learn about them.
